To manage all activities in the order-to-delivery cycle to ensure continuous improvements in reliability, speed and operation efficiencies and effectivenessTo manage the operational teams and ensure that company goals are achieved in terms of reliability, quality, inventory control, productivity and cost.To develop and manage an effective plant-wide communication process in order to assure alignment between activities in the shop-floor and business objectives throughout the team.To drive the Enterprise Lean System (ELS) culture or other worldwide improvement initiatives as productivity metrics / benching making in operation teams.To lead cost reduction initiatives and strive for operation excellence.To develop and implement best practices and major improvements to processes/systems across functional lines.To bring the total operation up to Corporate and World Class standard for Environmental Health and Safety.To plan & manage annual capital expenditure budget for operations to ensure that production capacity and capabilities are optimized.To exploit new technologies where appropriate to achieve cost saving and competitive advantage.To develop and maintain good relationship with sub-contractors and suppliers.To establish culture and team spirit among the whole team.To provide coaching and training for all manufacturing supervisors. Training emphasis should be in techniques to maximize operational effectiveness, provide clear consistent communication to all manufacturing teams and responsiveness to customer needs. To develop succession plans for the key roles based on the pre-identified competences.
